Spring is here and we have been very busy at Shio Studio! Not only have we started to enjoy the Manhattan skyline from the roof but over the past few weeks we have had many talented photographers, stylists, and creatives come through our doors! The talent and creativity abounds! Bridget Fleming, Marco Torres, Ben Lamberty, Erik Madigan Heck, Rachel Chandler, Clement Pascal, Patrik Sehlstedt, and more (!!) have used Shio for their personal projects or for editorial stories with publications including The New Yorker, Men's Health, Metal Magazine, V Man Online, Schon!, and Intermission. We have a lot to look forward to this month, so stay tuned!

Hi All,
The winter has been horrible here in Brooklyn but all is going to be fine in a couple weeks when the sun beams in our windows and we are back to t-shirt shorts weather again. During the past couple weeks of harsh winter a lot has happened. We had multiple photographers come and work on exciting editorial stories here at the studio including Erik Madigan Heck, Joseph Chen and Chris Colls. All of that is exciting but nothing beats the video that Shio Studio had the pleasure to work with Photographer Jessica Yatrofsky on day 1 of opening our doors in Brooklyn.

Hello all,
It's now February and there's 6 more weeks of winter to go before we can all get back on our bikes and enjoy the weather. A few additions to Shio Studio's equipment room is our Manfrotto Superboom! It has been an exciting month 1 with exciting collaborations, that are soon to be showcased. We are so blessed with this studio, this daylight, and all the love people give us when they visit shio studio. Thank you. We will keep going and make this studio even better day by day.
